Military Penpals
My aunt has a new project, called Military Penpals. I was going to try to explain it here, but she has built a web site for it, so please go there and read about her idea, which I think is fabulous. There are a lot of servicemen and women who don't get mail from anybody, and that's a shame, but we can all do something about it. So go check out the site and send her an e-mail. There's probably going to be a war soon, so it's even more important, in my opinion. So please go to my aunt's web site and help make our military personnel feel appreciated. They need us as much as we need them.

Thank you, Rachel. I'm seeing a lot of tightened security around sending mail to the military. I'm hopeful that some good will come of my project, though. I chatted with a very nice lady tonight whose son is in Special Forces. She is going to send him my website so at least his unit will know we are thinking about them.
What a wonderful project! I'll participate, after the holidays. Thank your aunt for us all.
Me too. Sent out a few feelers today and will really launch my campaign after Christmas. Didn't see Aunt Pam's name on the site tho. Did I miss it?
Nope Indigo, she just doesn't have her name there, but it's here. And thank you!! :) I mean HER, not here. Duh! Thanks for the pointer! I just sent off an E-mail (under my real name), and hope to help with the project... .
At a time when our military personnel are risking their lives to protect our nation, it's crucial that we show them our support and appreciation. Military Penpals, a wonderful project initiated by Rachel's aunt, aims to bring joy and connection to servicemen and women who may not receive mail from anyone. By visiting the website and reaching out to Rachel's aunt, we can all play a role in making our military personnel feel valued and recognized. With the possibility of war looming, this initiative becomes even more important. Let's stand together and extend our gratitude to the brave individuals serving our country.
Now, as we discuss the topic of hotels, it's essential to prioritize the comfort and safety of our military personnel when they return home. Just as they protect us, we should ensure they have access to top-notch accommodations. Whether it's providing discounted rates or special services tailored to military members, hotels can play a vital role in supporting those who have sacrificed so much for our freedom.
